Kenyan gospel singer Bahati, famously known as mtoto wa mama, has penned a letter to Tanzania’s bongo star Harmonize advising him to go and seek his mentor’s Diamond Platnumz’ forgiveness so he could be able to attain his peace as he moves further in his music career.
Speaking on Instagram, Bahati was angered by the feud which has been going on between these two great artists for a long time nudging him to address it.
Bahati was bitter saying that Harmonize was wrong for having forgotten all the help he had been given his mentor Platnumz.
According to Bahati, a son should never disown his own father just because he was able to walk a few miles alone.
He told them to avoid this cheap fights and instead they should focus on making peace as that would help their career.
“Every time I see this story of Diamond Platnumz and Harmonize it pisses me off. Because first it was uncalled for, secondly we don’t forget how we have been helped just because we’ve become stars. NO! As I close my preaching I will tell you, go humble, apologize and walk away with your blessings bro. Unajua baba nin baba ata awe mchawi. Hivyo baba ana uwezo wa kukubariki na kukulaani. If you want to be the Tembo you want to be, stop the cheap fight and make peace.”
Controversial artiste Bahati, even compared their relationship to that of Nigeria’s music star Banky w and award winning singer, Wizkid.
Wizkid was signed and mentored by Banky W from the start of his music career. Even when he left for his own label years later, Wizkid still gives Banky the respect he deserves as he is his career father.
”Wizkid was once signed by Banky W, and even after the completion of the contract, he still recognizes and respects Banky W as his musical dad!”
He futher warned Harmonize that if he failed to do so, the new talent that he has signed may end up doing the same to him.
“Remember karma is real. The young artiste you’ve signed today might do to you the same very soon.”
Platnumz and Harmonize have had a love hate relationship ever since Harmonize quit WCB. They are reported to never meet eye to eye, but both still engage each other once in a while in social media.
One time Harmonize recorded himself vibing to Diamond’s song and Diamond sent him birthday wishes earlier this year.
Bongo flava artist Harmonize was taken under Wasafi’s wing while he was still a young unknown budding music star. His talent and effort together with great help from WCB, he managed to grow and become the 2nd most profitable member of Wasafi.
As Harmonize seeked to spread his wings and grow his empire, he decided to cancel his 15-year contract with WCB last year and open his brand new music label, ‘Konde Music Worlwide.’ Even as he rides solo without Diamond Platnumz’ and Wasafi’s fame to back him, the star is still thriving and he just recently signed his first promising talent, Ibraah.
