Best of 2019 Paris Haute Couture: Elie Saab’s Collection

Hey beautiful people, so yes, finally the 2019 Haute Couture went down from the 21st to 24th of January and boy, were we wowed. From Chanel to Givenchy to Valentino to Armani; we saw classic masterpieces with twists that made every item unique to its brand.

One particular collection that caught my full attention was by the Lebanese designer Elie Saab. He is no doubt a leading haute couturier in the Middle East, if his designs through the years are anything to go by.

This year, his collection was themed to the sea, from sheer to create that delicate wavy look, to ruffles, to sequins and the deep blue colour; among other bright awesome colours.Indeed, his ideas were brought to actualization with utter perfection.

As reported by Vogue’s Tiziani Cardini, he said his collection was about celebrating the magic of femininity and that he sure did. We could see tonnes and tonnes of skin; from high slits, to low necklines; each with an elegance simply out if this world.

Another great thing about his collection was how every piece accentuated the waist. You can never go wrong with a detailed waist. This made his collection not only fit for any body type but drop dead flattering too.He really can make any lady feel like a Disney princess in any of these adorable items and I love that.

I have a feeling we’ll be seeing this collection on the red carpet one too many times. Honestly, I don’t mind and I just can’t wait (super excited, yaay). Who do you think will don this collection first? Drop a comment, say which one you like best. Here are more of his collection;

For all that runway and red carpet gist, keep it here, we’ll serve it as hot as it drops. Til next time, be good, live life and keep those eyes open. If they are wearing, and we like it, we’ll be talking (lol). Bye lovelies.
