Former NRG radio host and comedian Chebet Ronoh, took to social media to share the struggles she faces being a plus-size young lady. In a series of attached photos, she expressed how she has taken time to accept herself and be more in touch with her life, most especially her physique.

She expressed how numerous people attempted to body shame her, citing that she is ”too big to be 19 years old” and sharing those personal photos was a big step into embracing body positivity.

Really hesitated before posting this thinking “cant wait for people to talk and make a big deal out of this” but this whole pandemic has made me a whole different person I literally have been transformed by just getting to know who the hell i am , genuinely loving myself and doing things for meeee.” She said

Ronoh also expressed how body-shaming online trolls forced her to dress in baggy attire to draw off attention from her full-figured body. The influencer also lost her sense of self-awareness and worth in the midst of it all, but happy to regain her confidence once more.

I’ve been body shamed my whole life and i would wear clothes that were huge and buggy because apparently i am too big for 19 i literally wanted to be a nigga at one point😂😂😂 i was like fuck dis you know but i began to find myself learn things about myself take a pause on giving out more than i was receiving i started working out slowly.”Ronoh added

She finished off by encouraging women who have endured the same predicament of constant body shaming to love themselves as plus size women. Her main point was self-love and body positivity.
