Ethics entertainment wrote a special message to KFCB boss Dr. Ezekiel Mutua on his birthday 6th June 2020.The entertainment gang which is composed of five members, has collided with Dr. Mutual time and again due to their raunchy videos and songs.
Earlier last year , KFCB boss ordered for the gang’s arrest over the release of their song Tarimbo which was said to be promoting rape.
“..the DCI should arrest the entire bunch called Ethic, under article 33 , for going beyond the prescribed delimitations on freedom for expression by advocating for violence against women,” ordered Dr. Mutua.
He further went ahead to order for the deletion of the song. ” ..I have spoken to Google to take down the damn crap called ‘Tarimbo’ by Ethics entertainment which advocates for the rape of women.”
The Ethics gang was quick to apologise for their misconduct and promised that the same wouldn’t happen again.
“.. As Ethic entertainment we are truly sorry for any dolour caused by the lyrics to our single and for every single person that was triggered to a displeasing memory or emotion by it, receive our sincere apologies. ,” wrote the entertainment gang.
Ethics however have not put a halt to the battle, recently they released a song which displeased Dr. Mutua. The song , Soko , was not accepted by Dr. Mutua as he claimed that it promoted rape and prostitution. He took to social media to state his distaste for the track :
” ..the video ‘Soko’ by Ethic is despicable immorality that should be condemned by all right-thinking people. ”
Ethic have time and again found themselves between a rock and a hard place owing to the nature of their songs, which Dr. Mutua terms as explicit. On his birthday however, the gang took to social media to celebrate him as well as promise him a clean album.
” Happy birthday @ dr.ezekielmutua , we’ll ensure that you are the first to get a copy of the clean album , before it’s out. ”
Dr. Mutua also took to social media to thank God for his special day,
” It’s my Birthday !! Early in my golden jubilee years. It’s God’s grace that has brought me safe this far and grace Grace will lead me home . My sincere gratitude to everyone who has made the journey possible…”
