Ghetto radio presenter Celina Njoki fell seriously ill just one day after delivering a bouncing baby boy at AIC Kijabe Hospital and had to be transferred to the Intensive Care Unit(ICU) to receive immediate treatment.
The actress was overjoyed after delivering her new born son as seen in the social media posts she uploaded.
However, her happiness was soon cut short after a recurring ailment resurfaced leaving her in a critical state just when her son needed his mother most.
A friend of Celina’s going by the username Veronica Mwaura was the one who informed Netizens of the Ghetto radio presenter’s sudden illness.
She reached out to the Facebook fraternity to ask for help for her friend Celina who is in dire need of a blood transfusion to help in her treatment.
Famously known as Brown Girl, Celina is currently out of Intensive care but she still lies in hospital undergoing further treatment.
The friend appealed for Kenyans to come to the help of one of their own sisters who needs care and support at this critical moment of her life.
Veronica mentioned that she is ready to take care of transport money to and from Westlands, Nairobi for any willing donor.
“My friends and fam in Facebook, I need your help. My friend, an actress and radio presenter Celina Njoki urgently needs blood. Blood group O- OR O+, I’ll appreciate.I’m ready to send uber or fare to Westlands, as well as pick you. Brown Girl needs us now.”
Celina was currently admitted at AIC Kijabe Hospital ICU, but thank God she is now in recovery.”
The ‘Niaje Niaje’ show host, Celina began suffering from a rare autoimmune disorder which is known as, ‘Acquire Hemophilia’ a few years back.
The condition started soon after starting her first job on radio in 2013, leaving her in and out of hospital for two years.
Celina Nduta is also known to many as she has starred as an actress on hilarious comedy Citizen Television show, Mother-in-law.
