It’s Just business- Bien Reveals Kaskazini’s Exit From Sauti Sol.

Sauti sol music band has lost yet another musician few months after Crystal Asige was shown the door. Sauti Sol is an Afro pop band which was founded in Nairobi in 2005 with its main initiators being Bien- Aime Baraza , Savara Mudigi , Willis Chimano as well as Polycarp Otieno.
Sauti Sol is famous for their major songs , Nerea and Sura Yako.

Sura Yako was nominated for several accolades and won the Most Downloaded Single among other awards. Nerea also won an accolade for being the Best collaboration of the year despite being nominated for several awards.

The fast rising afro-pop band has struggled to the top in a span of less than twenty years. By the look of things, all is not well , presently at the celebrated band.

Few days ago, Crystal Asige left the band. On an interview on Chatspot, the talented songbird revealed that she had no idea why the management kicked her out of the group.

“Back in November, they told me to leave, they don’t want me to be in the group anymore and so I left. That’s the beginning and end of the story.”

Bien on the other hand, as the lead singer went ahead to point out that they parted ways with the singer amicably and claimed that they had few complications.

“We are not working with Crystal anymore and this came with a lot of complications. It was an amicable break-up and we are glad we gave her a platform.”

The latest member to leave the group after Crystal is Kaskazini . The sing leader, Bien came out clean to talk about his exit. Netizens noticed that Kaskazini had been missing in action after he failed to feature in the album Midnight train which dropped earlier this month.

Bien stated that the only two artists left in Sauti Sol as per now are Nviiri and Bensoul,

“It’s been so difficult, we started with four and now there are two.Right now we have Nviiri and Bensoul. They are the future of Kenyan music it’s just business and also about meeting their needs and our needs”
