A new study by Comparisun has revealed the Amazon founder Jeff Bezos May become the World’s first trillionaire by 2026 when he’ll only be 62 years of age.
Bezos is currently worth an estimated 143 billion dollars. His net worth has been growing by a total of 34% each year over the past five years.
His profits have kept on increasing even after he lost 38 billion dollars’ worth of Amazon shares to his wife Mackenzie Bezos in his recent divorce.
According to Bloomberg, Jeff Bezos wealth has increased by 28.3 billion in 2020 alone yet we are not even halfway through the year yet.
His company Amazon has witnessed a hyke in their profits during this Quarantine season as home delivery orders go off the roof.
Profits for the first three months of the year 2020 hit 75 billion dollars which were 15 billion dollars more than what they made in 2019.
After analyzing 25 of the richest people in the world, Comparisun has found that only 11 of them have a realistic shot at becoming trillionaires.
Comparisun is a company which analyses historical evaluations of the world’s richest companies and individuals in an attempt to predict when they’ll join the trillion-dollar club.
The company estimates that the second trillionaire by the year 2027 would be Chinese real estate tycoon Xu Jiayin.
Mukesh Ambani, India’s Reliance Limited CEO could join the trillionaire club by 2033 when he’ll be 75.
With his current growth rate, Mark Zuckerberg may become the youngest man worth one trillion at only 51 which is about 10 years from now.
Others in the fast track of becoming trillionaires are CEO of Moet Bernard Arnault, Chairman of Tencent Holdings Ma Hauteng, former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, Dell founder Michael Dell and Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
