Speaking to his fans, Magix Enga expressed his interest in signing the whole Wasafi crew including their boss Diamond Platnumz to his label, Magix empire.
Diamond Platnumz and the Wasafi group; Rayvanny, Mbosso, Zuchu, Lavalava and Simba’s sister Queen Darling just released a major banger, ‘Quarantine’ less than a day ago.
The song is already topping charts in Youtube and other major music streaming media platforms.
After listening to the song, Kenyan music producer Magix Enga posted that the song lacked something it needed to be great.
He said the only way the Quarantine song could be saved is if Kenya and Tanzania worked together.
“Yes I said I want to sign Babalao, the CEO of Wasafi na team yake yote @Magixempire. This is after listening to that quarantine song.” Magix told his fans.
Soon after he uploaded that post, netizens were on his neck claiming that the singer/producer should quit bragging.
Others said that Platnumz was a far bigger name than Magix Empire and thus he should give Wasafi King the respect he deserves.
Magix responded stating that his proposal was not for the sake of proving who has more money or that he hated the Tanzanian star.
“I don’t hate Diamond. Na sio competition ya nani ako na pesa. Kuna kitu about that new song and the only way to save it is to work together.” He said.
