Plus Size Woman pleads with Sauti Sol to release a song about Fat women


On Wednesday 20th March a dissatisfied female fan of the talented boy band Sauti Sol, sent a recorded video to the music group.

The plus-size lady going by the username @pluswangaprincess on Instagram, pleaded with Sauti Sol to write a song about plus size women like her.

According to the lady, the music crew has no better time than now to practice a new skill.

She suggested that they seize this lockdown duration to come up with a beautiful song about fat ladies.

“This video is to nobody but Sauti Sol, so if you are not Sati Sol, mind your business.”

The lady began in her video. She further went on,

“Guys, you are in Quarantine, you are stuck in the house, you can’t tour, you can’t go to shows. You have just dropped a beautiful album You have sang about everybody. It’s not Isabella, it’s your sister, it’s everybody. It’s not the skin colour you have sang about it. My friends, when are you guys going to remove a song about fat women? I mean it’s just a question. All I am saying is you have time. Learn a new skill and give some love to some fat women.”

The lady even offered to be Sauti Sol’s vixen on the song for free in any case they decide to do the song.

Sauti Sol reposted @plusWangaPrincess video on their Instagram handle and replied that the message was fully received and they will act on it.

Boy band Sauti Sol have been blessing Kenyan Tv screens with wonderful music ever since they dropped their first song, Lazizi in August 2009.

The fantastic four, Bien, Polycarp, Savara and Chimano have sung songs about skin colour, relationships, mothers, you name it.

Just recently, they signed a new music contract with Universal Music Africa (UMA), a division of one of the largest music labels in the world, Universal Music Group.

They have since released a full album titled ‘Midnight Train’ and hit singles such as ‘Suzanna’ and ‘Brighter Days.’
