Former Starehe MP has a reason to thank God after she was finally discharged from Nairobi Hospital’s ICU.
She remains in hospital to be able to recover completely.
Bishop Margaret had been hospitalized last week and put in the Intensive care Unit in Nairobi hospital.
The hospitalization came after she was diagnosed with the fatal virus, COVID19.
The Kenya Films and Classification Board (KFCB) chairman Ezekiel Mutua released a statement saying that the former MP was taken out of the breath support machines on Saturday Evening and is now in stable condition.
The Bishop has been able to even call some of her friends to thank them for her support.
“Bishop Margaret is out of ICU. Still hospitalized but doing quite well now. She’s able to talk and has called a number of people to express her gratitude. We give God the glory and wish her a quick and full recovery.”
Ezekiel Mutua wrote on his twitter handle.
Bishop Margaret and 7 other people were hospitalized on May 21 after they were found positive.
All of them were members of Bishop Margaret’s Jesus is Alive Ministries who had attended a prayer meeting in her house.
After departing from the meeting, one of the members was found positive which led to the rest of them being taken into isolation and getting tested.
