Ordering from home has become the new norm as social distancing and lockdown measures intensifies due to the massive spread of the novel Corona Virus.
Online purchases, however, come with different perks.
You are not assured that you will get good quality items each time.
That is why many people often order from trusted brands as you are more guaranteed to make a worthwhile purchase.
However, even those with assured quality goods may not be as perfect at times.
A KFC customer was recently shocked after a delivery driver ate half of the chicken nuggets she ordered while on his way to her house.
Surprisingly, the driver going by the name Martin Kariuki, even dumped the napkins he had used inside the package which led to the lady confirming that it was indeed him who did it.
Barbara Kidimu, the lady in question took to twitter to relay her disappointment on the services she was offered.
Apparently, she had ordered 24 pieces of nuggets together with other items worth seven thousand Kenyan shillings from KFC through Yum Kenya.
On arrival, only 12 pieces of the nuggets were left.
“I just ordered @KFCKenya from @YumKenya and the delivery driver (Martin Kariuki) ate half the nuggets. I ordered 24 pieces and other items worth kshs 7000. There were dirty napkins that he had wiped with in the bag. In the age of Corona Virus, Unacceptable!” She wrote on her twitter handle.
On the wake of this corona virus pandemic, everyone is being really extra careful because of how easily the virus spreads.
It is especially very difficult to find out that the person who handles your food puts you at risk of getting the virus knowingly.
Every person should be extra careful especially when receiving food items from friends, neighbours and more so delivery guys.
